I know that they’re in safe hands with Abi, Richard & Ros. The horses and ponies are of really good quality and they do a variety of riding, in the sand school, through the stables’ own wood and farmland, cross country course and on Bodmin Moor. Adults are also well catered for and it’s nice to go for the occasional hack or lesson with my girls. I highly recommend Lower Tokenbury. ”

Welcome to our website. Lower Tokenbury is a friendly, family run,  ABRS (Association of British Riding Schools) approved riding school holding the highest council licence rating and is an active Pony Club centre - having been established for over 50 years – since 1969, Lower Tokenbury Equestrian Centre is nestled in the beautiful Cornish countryside close to Bodmin Moor and offers the complete equestrian package.
At Lower Tokenbury we offer specialised training for the rider or horse in dressage, show jumping or cross country over our own course.
We have produced riders who have been selected to compete for Great Britain and horses from unbroken to Advanced level eventing. No matter what your equestrian goals are we are here to help you achieve it through sound progressive training and get as much pleasure out of giving customers their first experience on a horse as we do training to a high competition standard.
